Writing is a creative art. You need time and clarity of thinking to write down your thoughts or ideas. As life got busier, I was hardly getting both to write something. It's a co incidence, that I came across a very interesting story thread of a friend. She is talking about turn ons and asking people to share their turn on points. That got me thinking.

Turn ons are of two kinds. Sexual and Non sexual. Sexual turn ons again has got branches. Not all turn ons necessarily has to end up in orgasm or pleasure. Some of them continues even after an intense orgasm. Thats one of the reasons to believe, forever exists.

Sexual turn ons can happen either by physical touches or psychological touches. As an example for the latter, a deep talk about a particular subject can be a turn on. Physical touches, as you know, is about taps on the erogenous zones of a person. It differs from one person to other.

There is a very thin line between having a thing for a body part and fetish. While fetishes are very normal thing to have, an overdose of fetish can lead to a perverted life. In the current era, we come across a lot of foot fetish pages on social media. At least some of them cross the line and turn into vulgarity. Who draws the line is an unwanted question, as its down to one’s perspective of morality. Definitely, a social morality exists on the lines of self respect and crossing boundaries.

Coming back to turn on, non-sexual turn ons can be more fun because it leads one to another. If a person gets a non sexual turn on from first date, there is high chance it can lead to a second date.

To get to know the actual feeling of being turned on sexually, one must know how to turn on themselves. There are reports and articles on google which clearly states the relation between loneliness and the lack of knowledge on turning on oneself. Again, that doesnt need to be physically touching yourself. It could be - for example, listen to the music of your choice!

The concept of turn on is an highly misinterpreted human emotion. As it is always related to sex rather than a feeling or a desire. Open conversations are required between people to normalise the talks about turn ons and make people understand it is just another emotion or a feeling that a normal human feel.
