Perfect partner

Its very rare that I get the mood to blog. Few of my posts happened when I have forced myself to blog something. But today I really feel like typing my heart out about something. Oh wait. My laptop died. I am not a fan of blogging through my mobile because in between someone would whatsapp me. You must be thinking that I am a busy man to get whatsapp messages every now and then. Well not really, its only when I blog or post something on fb through mobile, people find time to whatsapp me!
Okay so, let me keep the self boasting aside and come to the topic. I watched a beautiful – absolutely beautiful – film today. \’Su Su Sudhi Vatmeekam.\’, a film I will remember forever along with many others. But Sudhi Vatmeekam will have a special place in my heart because it inspired me, motivated me and gave me a definition of a perfect partner. Among the various \’share posts\’ that appear on Facebook every minute, few have captured my attention and one of them is the need to have a partner that inspires you to achieve your dream. Today, I saw the visual version of this infamous quote. Sudhi Vatmeekam has many touching characters and moments but what attracted me the most is the female lead, the character named \’Kalyani\’ – the speech therapist. The viewers fall in love with Malar, Ayisha etc partly because of the actresses. But I am in love with \’Kalyani\’ the character not Shivada Nair who played it. More than the looks, the character of \’Kalyani\’ attracted and turned me on. She knows how to bring someone who has inferior complex out of the shelves, she knows how to make a man say \’No.\’ and how to clutch his hands tight when he has succeeded in life.
The more I think how lucky Sudhi Vatmeekam is to get a girl like Kalyani, the more I realize how much the luck factor is involved in one\’s life. I am a sensitive person who feel dejected and inferior when something goes wrong. My confidence takes a beating every now and then. I am weak at heart and because of my inability to say \’No\’ to people, I have suffered. Even after all such experiences I am still unable to say \’No\’ to people. The maximum I can say is \’Let me try, I am not sure though\’ even for the things I am sure I cannot do. As it is in the blood of Malayalees, it feels good to know I am not the only one who has this. There are many. Sometimes, they self motivate. Sometimes their friends do. Sometimes their lovers do. Sometimes their parents do. Almighty makes sure that there is someone to motivate such people.
So what is my point? Well, love is not all about looks. Perfect partner isn\’t someone who flirt with you in the public or stand for your sexual fantasies or pampers you but someone who will push you to achieve your dreams and finally hold your hands tight. Of course the other qualities will \’complete\’ you but the word perfect partner has a completely different definition. Do I have a Kalyani in my life? Not yet and here is the reason to why I said luck is a huge factor involved in our lives. Though I have few Kalyanis as my friends. Asking for more is asking for too much of luck!
If you are feeling why did you waste your time on reading this blog, I can answer you that in another blog. Till then Ciao and keep dreaming about Kalyani 😉
