Hello readers! How have you been? Its been sometime since I blogged. To be honest, I didn\’t have words backing me up to blog all these days. Mostly it was tiny tales which was coming and therefore I came up with a few of those. But that is not for what I have this blog right. Many times I opened this \’new post\’ page but I didn\’t know what to write. Not as if I have something to write about now. But there were times before like this also when I so badly felt like blogging, I just opened this page and started typing. Interestingly, those articles have earned me more praise than the prepared ones.

The last few days were tough on me. Its still going tough with slight professional setbacks and personal dilemmas. Okay, this is not autobiographical. Over the past few months, I am inspired by many people – on and off the screen. The biggest of them all is someone whom I have never met, whom I have never spoken. Suraj Venjaramood. I don\’t know why but I am a huge fan of his \’Comedy supernite\’ in Flowers TV. Its such a refreshing program. True, the skits become a farce on some days but even then Suraj along with Aswathy make the program interesting Every night around 9pm, I open youtube to watch their episodes. For some reason, it doesn\’t excite me to watch it on TV when its aired first at 9:30pm from Monday to Thursday. The program makes me laugh but most importantly, the stories narrated by Suraj directly out of his life have the sour taste of his bitter childhood. There was one episode in which he narrated his unfortunate situation of unable to go for school picnic and his friends teasing him. He told it with an element of humor and people laughed. He continued \”I was crying deep inside.\” Such people who rise up to success from ashes is a real inspiration.

Out of the Navarasas of acting, I believe, humor is the most difficult one. Its very difficult to make a person laugh. Imitating the dialogue from \”Usthad Hotel\”, making someone laugh is not that difficult but (s)he should laugh from his heart. There lies the success of an actor, comedian, script writer and a director. There are few write ups which I closely follow. Sathyan Anthikad\’s \’anthiponvettam\’ is one among them. All the content are his real life experiences which includes mostly the legendary Mohanlal or someone of similar experience. When you closely read his write ups which mostly has a lot of embarrassing moments, nose cut situations, you realize how much of an observer Sathyan Anthikad is. He finds something deep in every situation he encounter. It carries a message. He writes it in his column. They are light humor. Along with making people laugh, he injects a deep thought into the readers\’ mind. Much like what his collaborations with Sreenivasan did in the 80s and 90s.

I have wrote an article on observance before. I think the ability to observe even the minute and the most negative energy around you will make you deep think. Even the most embarrassing situation has a humor with a message in it. The only think you need to have to enjoy those is a light mind, the ability to sink in the embarrassment, the reflexive spontaniouty to counter back and a patient mind to observe the situation.

Humor and inspiration is all around you. You just need to open your eyes for that.
